Description
We take students on a multicultural, musical journey, playing traditional songs from around the globe, creating original rhythms, dancing and taking turns leading. Possible themes connect music to Social Emotional Learning, math, literacy and science of sound. Students experience many positive life skills including leadership, teamwork, cooperation, listening and communication skills as well as musical and cultural awareness. Single day workshops and residencies available and professional development for staff will give teachers simple strategies for incorporating music and movement into the classroom to engage students.
