Aisha Nailah is an African-diasporan woman visual artist in love with color and culture.
Aisha Nailah is a Bridgeport based visual artist and certified special education teacher with a Bachelor’s in Art Therapy. She's a painter, collage artist and natural light photographer. Her works are full of color and texture and concern themselves mainly with the feeling and spiritual vibrancy of the composition. Aisha is culturally inspired by street art and by being a black woman of Costa Rican descent. She has been exhibiting, curating and developing creative events for the past decade.
"In our Harlem Renaissance Youth Arts Summer Program of 2013, Aisha inspired our children to create incredible collaborative pieces that still hang in our facility today. She was able to excite them about the artistry of Romare Bearden, Jacob Lawrence and Lois Jones and masterfully guided them through their own artistic choices and creations."
