Shifu Edmund Durso has earned 4 black belts and opened the Fire Mountain School in 2012. In 2018, the school began performing lion and dragon dance at cultural events in the NYC Chinatowns. Now we perform around the Tri-State area creating connections at schools and corporations. We view our unique experience and good fortune as an opportunity for demonstrating universal respect, inclusivity and martial virtue. It's all about empowering human creativity and respect with culture and energy.
Our school had the honor of performing the Chinese Dragon Dance in the 2023 NYC Lunar New Year Parade. Using the principles of his EFT system and Chinese Martial Arts, Shifu Ed created a highly energized and unified team of new performers. In just a few hours of training- 10 people became 1 Fire Dragon 火龙!
