My artistic background stems from lived experience being raised by deaf grandparents. Creativity sparks in silence and experiences have shaped my world as an artist. I have a very diverse identity and artistic style that varies with multiple disciplines. I enjoy tapping into poetry, writing, story telling, theater and movement. Any means of releasing expression through art is what I aim to do for creative healing. My workshops vary in both school and community settings covering K-12 and adults.
Lanea is imaginative, experienced, well-organized and creative in her approaches to teaching, learning and administering arts programs. She regularly teaches classes in acting, writing and sign language throughout the school year. It has been a privilege and an inspiration to work together over the past 4 years. I would feel confident handing her the leadership of any youth program.
