Performer, choreographer, educator, and published author Rachna Ramya Agrawal received a Master's degree in dance. Rachna has won many awards in dance, in recognition of her Kathak skill. Currently, she is on the teaching faculty at Trinity College in Hartford and is also the Artistic Director of the Sumbhaav School of Kathak Dance. Rachna is the recipient of the "2020/2021 Distinguished Achievement in Dance Award, awarded by the Connecticut Dance Alliance.
Rachna Agrawal is an accomplished dancer and brought a wealth of information about traditional Indian dance. She taught the students the basic moves and led them in a traditional Kathak dance. Students were mesmerized. (Christina Hicinbothem, 5th-grade teacher, Kinsella School)
