Thelma's background spans ballet, jazz, modern, belly, and Brazilian dances. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and has performed globally with professional dance groups in Brazil, Japan, China, Europe, and the US. Since 2010, based in the US, she has danced with Ginga Brasileira Dance Co. for Young Audiences in the Tri-State area and taught Samba and Brazilian dance styles for 14 years in Connecticut and beyond.
