Parents' Choice Award winner Motoko has enchanted audiences of every age since 1993. Her rich blend of Asian folktales has taken her to venues across the US, and also in Japan, China, Senegal, and the UAE. A native of Osaka, Japan, Motoko has been awarded numerous grants for her residency programs on creative writing, Japanese culture, Ancient China, and origami geometry. She is the author of A Year in Japan: Folktales, Songs and Art for the Classroom.
