Teaching Artist Legacy Statement
My mission as a Flamenco artist, and an Arts Educator straddling two cultures, is to be an ambassador of this Spanish art and share it with audiences and students of all ages and backgrounds. A passion and profession, Flamenco has become a vehicle with which I connect to the community at large through music, rhythm, and dance; it is a way in which I can share a different worldview, culture, and language to children and adults alike; and it is is a tool that allows me to instill students with both confidence and wonder.

Testimonials
"Rebecca has the ability to teach at a very high level even to the littlest students. Under her guidance, the campers learned a tremendous amount about flamenco dance - the steps, the music, the rhythms and a bit of the history -all while they're having fun. Her cheerful demeanor and finely tuned instructions make her a clear, easily understandable and affective teacher. I can still hear the echoes of the rhythms she had campers clapping months later."
