Teaching Artist Legacy Statement
Anna Sobel has been a professional puppeteer since 1998. In 2003, she studied puppetry as a tool for social change and education on a Fulbright Scholarship in India. Anna studied literacy and early childhood education at Bank Street College and also holds a master's degree from New York University in Educational Theater. Anna is a mother of two and loves to work with children. Her shows all involve audience participation, original music, and educational themes.
