Description

The Goal of the game is to illicit individual students or teams to write the craziest, most creative, descriptive and colorful text to image prompt. As a group, we will then to try out through the actual Text-to-Image program and the "most descriptive" image wins. The purpose of this program is to work on collaborating to create descriptive prompts to evoke detailed imagery. The instructor will be feeding their prompts into the Image creation program from a laptop hooked up to a screen after student (teams) have constructed a prompt.

This program is an introduction to the new medium of AI art, and can be combined with other workshops into a residency where students eventually create their own individual AI art.

Program Details:

I will deliver a brief overview of AI Text-to-Image Art and current knowledge. I will then review a slideshow of my images and prompt screenshots. As a group, we will discuss details like patterns, language, artist names, and styles. Next students teams create their own prompts, focusing on creativity and detail- there are no right or wrong answers—the most descriptive and intricate prompt wins!

Next I will feed prompts into the Image Creation program using a laptop connected to a screen. As a group, we will discuss the generated images and prompt effectiveness.

We will then vote on most creative and descriptive prompts, and there will be prizes!
