Description
This program introduces students to Chinese culture through language lessons, historical and geographical background, and audience interaction. The diversity of dance and music selections, authentic costumes, props, and narration illustrate and explain traits, customs, and patterns of Chinese life.

Objectives
Performed by professional dancers from Dance China NY, our assembly program is the best you can find outside of mainland China. It presents the beauty of Chinese dance with full costumes, authentic music, and interactive segments that will engage your students in a fun and educational way.

• Set Up: 45-60min prior to the performance to start
• Break: 10-15mins
• Strike: 20-30mins
• Program Space: A typical floor that schools have in their auditorium is fine. Access to water or bottled water is appreciated.
• Electricity/Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi connection would be preferred.
• Audiovisual/Tech: A microphone and sound system that can connect to an iPhone.
• Tables/Chairs: one or two tables with six chairs for backstage or changing room.
• Dressing Room: Private room/area for performers to change costumes in between each act.
• Outside Possible: No.
• Mobility/Location Needs: We need parking for one car.
