Description
In this immersive program, students will explore the rich tapestry of Haitian Folk Art, particularly its unique use of metal sourced from recycled oil drums. Delving deep into its cultural customs and traditions, they'll engage in hands-on activities to craft their own metal sculptures, drawing inspiration from Haitian aesthetics and refining their motor and artistic skills. Beyond the act of creation, this lesson deepens appreciation for Haitian heritage, prompting students to connect with and reflect upon the profound cultural significance of their artworks.
