Testimonial

"When Carol walks into our school, EVERYBODY smiles. Her energy, creativity and collaborative nature are contagious to students, teachers, principals custodians.. Carol is an expert at designing residencies to match your specific curricular needs. Through drama, students at CIS were able to "personalize" the curriculum, and creatively express their related opinions and ideas."

-Karen Loiselle, Principal Colchester Intermediate School

Description

Carol's workshops put the curriculum on it's feet, in a single workshop, a few visits, or a ten day residency. Author of Learning On Their Feet, A Source book for Kinesthetic Learning Across the Curriculum, K-8, Carol brings the curriculum to life by having students act it out. Using time-tested game structures, Carol can help students act out everything from compost to mythology, fractions to the periodic table. Carol designs her residencies to fit your needs. Her ten day residencies involve full class curricular productions, where every student has a costume, with props, scenery and a final performance.

Objectives

-Understand the required curriculum in depth through the process of creating it piece by piece and acting it out.
