Testimonial
"It was an honor and a privilege to work with Anthony DePoto in my 6th grade classroom this year. From day one he engaged my classes with his charm and wit. His ability to bring our social studies curriculum alive with the craft of script writing and performance art was well beyond my expectations. I highly recommend his talents and look forward to the day when we can collaborate again. Bravo, Mr. DePoto!"

Description
In this class students will begin to break down the fundamentals of telling a story. Students will create their own original story as well as characters—and have the opportunity to present what they've created at the end of the session. Students, alongside Anthony, will brainstorm storylines and themes and learn how to work as an ensemble. This class also helps promote self-confidence, public speaking, and working together as a team. Our job as teaching artists is to create an open and safe environment for the students to express themselves freely.
