Testimonial

"Having the opportunity to work with AFLCT has been truly beneficial; they've provided unique experiences that have positively impacted our students. Their professional artists are strong role-models who encouraged students to take risks, find their voices, and be confident young people. They assisted in the process of inspiring our students to discover their individual identities and be able to self-assuredly express and share their ideas and opinions."

Description

“Through The Lens” workshops and residencies provide students with a creative outlet that inspires them to connect with the subjects they are studying from a different perspective. We give students a chance to be creative with high tech digital tools as well as heightening connection to their community and environment. Students learn by experiencing hands-on projects and reflections on their work as a group. Because of the universal applications for photography there are many potential science and literacy connections for schools to choose from. Craig brings enough cameras of all students.
