Description
The Blackout Poetry workshop is a hands-on creative experience where students transform existing texts such as book pages, newspapers, or magazines into entirely new works of art. By selectively “blacking out” words and phrases, participants uncover hidden poems and create fresh narratives from found language.

Practice close reading to identify meaningful words, phrases, and themes in a given text.
