Testimonial

Having the opportunity to work with AFLCT has been truly beneficial; they've provided unique experiences that have positively impacted our students. Their professional artists are strong role-models who encouraged students to take risks, find their voices, and be confident young people. They assisted in the process of inspiring our students to discover their individual identities and be able to self-assuredly express and share their ideas and opinions.

Description

In this workshop, students will learn about the origins of train graffiti, its cultural significance, and the creative expression it represents. The session will include a discussion on the evolution of "throw-ups" and tagging styles, spotlighting iconic movements and artists who have left their mark on urban landscapes.

Students will then unleash their creativity, designing their own train-inspired throw-ups. Guided by expert techniques, they’ll sketch and refine their work, learning about letter forms, flow, and color theory. This hands-on program encourages self-expression, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation of graffiti as an art form. Perfect for students eager to connect with street art culture and create something truly their own!

Objectives
