Description

The Sounds of Motown program takes listeners on a musical journey through the urban city of Detroit Michigan. Rich with culture, the soulful sounds of the streets became the sound of Motown known as the music of young America. This performance highlights famous Motown artist such as The Temptations, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and Motown founder, Berry Gordy Jr.

Technical Specifications

• Set Up: 1 hour
• Break: 5 mins
• Strike: 40 mins

• Program Space: A stage is helpful but not required. A level floor or ground area is required. At least a 14x14ft size is sufficient.
• Electricity/Wi-Fi: 2 power outlets to power our speakers and mixing board
• Tables/Chairs: No but music stands are sometimes helpful
• Outside Possible: Yes, with an even and stable platform or stage for the band to perform on. Easy access to electrical outlets
• Venue-Provided Supplies: Water and/or snacks are appreciated
• Mobility/Location Needs: Parking close to the performance entrance is great to have for loading in and out. It’s great to not have to climb stairs with all of my equipment. An elevator is ideal.
