Alana Ladson teaches visual arts sessions to promote expression, choose joy, and encourage calm and healthy emotional release through creativity.
Alana Ladson is a traditional and digital artist with skills in acrylic and watercolor painting, digital art, collage, and graphic design. She has years of experience teaching art lessons to children and adults. Alana has extensive experience teaching and mentoring children of varying ages during in-school programming, afterschool programming, and various summer programs. Her work has been displayed at The New Haven Public Library, Loomis Chaffee’s Mercy Gallery, BKLYN Commons, and more.
When Alana taught a 1st grade class at Conte West Hills School in May, after the class, a little 1st grade girl named Autumn went out of her way to hug her and say that she would miss her. This was a testament to how the lesson went!
