In 1997, Bob received certification as a "Master Teaching Artist" by The Connecticut Office of the Arts. For 18 years he served as a Faculty Assistant to Dr. Babatunde Olatunji for his "Language of the Drums" courses. Bob performed on drums and voice as a member of Olatunji's legendary, African music troupe "Drums of Passion" at venues including Lincoln Center and Jorgenson Center for the Performing Arts. He has completed certified trainings about nonviolence, micro-aggression, and about autism.
