Leslie Johnson believes in the power of the arts to inspire student writers! An experienced classroom educator, published writer, and Teaching Artist, Leslie brings the joy of creativity to students while supporting teachers' curriculum goals. Leslie (MFA, University of Arizona), recipient of the Pushcart Prize, has published in many literary journals and award anthologies. She teaches at the University of Hartford, where she has won awards for excellence in teaching and creative scholarship.
